Revathi and Archana had initially decided to produce the film, but former actress Easwari Rao later agreed to fund the project.Prakash Raj was revealed to be portraying a writer, and the film developed under the tentative title of Kavingan Aakinaal Ennai.The film's first look poster was revealed on 14 January 2016, coinciding with Pongal.

Description:Bruce Lee is an upcoming Tamil action-comedy film directed by Prashanth Pandiraj, starring G. V. Prakash Kumar and Kriti Kharbanda in the leading roles, the film being the latter's first straight Tamil film.

The project was first announced in June 2015, when G. V. Prakash Kumar had agreed to work with Prashanth Pandiraj on an action comedy film to be produced by Kenanya Films.The title of the film was changed in July 2015 from Baasha Engira Anthony to Bruce Lee, after the makers failed to acquire the relevant permission to use the title from the makers of Baashha (2015).During October 2015, the film had a brief legal tussle with the makers of the Telugu film of the same, Bruce Lee (2015), after they dubbed and released their film in Tamil as Bruce Lee 2. The team of the Tamil production, Bruce Lee, were unable to prevent the release of the Telugu version or its dubbed Tamil version.

Samantha and then Nayanthara were approached to play the leading female role, but their unavailability meant that Kriti Kharbanda, who also appeared in the Telugu Bruce Lee, was signed on to make her debut in Tamil films.The team held a photoshoot in October 2015, with Kriti revealing that her and Prakash would portray college students.Production subsequently began later that month, with the makers targeting a release date in early 2016.

This is the first film for the 'Baahubal' girl with Vijay Sethupathi and Seenu Ramasamu

'Dharma Durai' is being produced by R.K.Suresh of Studio 9 banner. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director and Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics for all the songs in the film. Sukumar is the cinematographer for this film. and Mu.Kasi Vishwanathan is announced as the editor.

Description:The film was first reported in November 2014, when Jiiva had agreed terms to work on a village-centric film directed by K.P Subramaniam, who had previously made Ambasamudram Ambani (2010). Nayanthara signed on to appear in the film in April 2015, while Srikanth Deva was confirmed as the film's music director.The film began its first schedule in Kumbakonam in May 2015 at a grand Agraharam set. The films trailer was released on for Diwali . The shooting for the film was completed by the end of August 2015 and the post production work thereafter started.

Jiiva and Nayanthara are coming together for a film now after their Jhananathan film E. The talented duo will be teaming up for Thirunaal to be direted by S P Ramnath and produced by Kodhandapani films.

 Jiiva will be donning a village hero in this film which is said to have humor, romance and action in right proportions.

Thirunaal will go on floors from May in Kumbakonam where a massive set is being erected to shoot sequences. Mahesh Muthusamy is the cinematogrpher and Sri is the music director.
